ABSTRACT
The goal of this research was to produce a device capable of improving the user’s sleep quality via the adjustment of bed softness, the playing of sleep-accompanying music, LED brightness, room aromatherapy, fingerprint-based user identification and the addition of a heating bolster module. The research was done in three steps/methods, which were problem identification, software & hardware development, and evaluation. A Raspberry Pi 3 was used to control output modules and as a user interface platform. Evaluation was done by direct observation of device output by researchers. The results of this thesis were: user identification accuracy at 94%, pump resistance level linear for every adjustment iteration, music playing & aromatherapy activation accuracy at 100% and heating bolster capable of keeping its temperature at 32oC in at room temperature 22oC-27oC. It was concluded that the device works as originally intended and based on user adjustments.

ABSTRAK
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan sebuah alat yang dapat meningkatkan kualitas tidur pengguna melalui: pengaturan keluaran pompa keempukkan tempat tidur, pemutaran lagu pengantar tidur, keterangan LED, aromaterapi dan identifikasi sidik jari pengguna, beserta modul tambahan guling penghangat. Proses penelitian dilaksanakan dalam tiga tahap, yaitu identifikasi masalah, pengembangan software dan hardware, dan evaluasi. Raspberry Pi 3 digunakan sebagai pengontol modul-modul keluaran sistem beserta antarmuka bagi pengguna. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan pengambilan data terhadap alat melalui pengamatan langsung peneliti. Hasil penelitian antara lain: ketepatan identifikasi pengguna mencapai 94%, nilai resistansi pompa konsisten untuk setiap iterasi pengaturan, ketepatan pemutaran musik serta pengaktivasian aromaterapi bernilai 100%, dan guling penghangat dapat menjaga suhu 32oC pada ruangan bersuhu 22oC-27oC. Disimpulkan bahwa alat dapat bekerja sesuai dengan tujuannya dan berdasarkan pengaturan pengguna.
