Glasses-free 3D imaging on mobile devices is nothing new; the Nintendo 3DS has been around since 2010 impressing users with its 3D graphics sans spectacles. Since that breakthrough, ensuing generations have seen incremental improvements. The latest development comes via a plastic film produced through nanoimprinting technology that enables mobile devices to display 3D content without using 3D glasses in both portrait and landscape mode.
