HDD – Workshop Room

Located in building “H” at the base floor of it or in Indonesia “Lantai Dasar” and the “D”-th room in the “D” level. Hence, the abbreviation “HDD”. Also, it is kind of a famous name as it resembles the word, Hardware.  Every major in Bina Nusantara University (BINUS) has its signature room(s) and this is one of the few. It is used as a heavy-duty workshop up to students get the chance to hang out with one another as it has a significantly “larger” room than other Computer Engineering’s room. Maybe, it is where we spill out passion, blood, sweat, and tears in the making of each individual nor group project. Or in our terms, bonding.

Welcome to the Engineer’s Workshop, a haven for computer engineering majors equipped with heavy-duty tools and expertise to bring projects from conception to completion.

At the heart of the Workshop lies an impressive array of heavy-duty tools, each meticulously organized and maintained for precision and safety. From the piercing whir of the jig saw to the steady buzz of the soldering iron, every tool has its place in the creative symphony of innovation. The drill stands ready to bore through barriers, while the grinder transforms raw materials into works of art. Every tool is a catalyst for creativity, empowering engineers to bring their visions to life with precision and finesse.

In the pursuit of innovation, safety is paramount. Every member of the Workshop undergoes rigorous training to ensure the responsible use of heavy-duty tools. From proper handling techniques to emergency protocols, safety is ingrained into the fabric of daily operations.

Certified staff members stand as guardians, overseeing operations with a watchful eye and offering guidance to those navigating the complexities of engineering. In this environment, risk is mitigated, and creativity flourishes without compromise.
